poem: Do I Deserve Animosity
The following show on Spotify deals with daily issues which the audience faces. I wrote this poem that attacks the society that judges us and makes us feel like weeds. However, this poem has a personal touch and fear and that is- losing my close ones. I hope you will love this :)
POEM " DO I DESERVE ANIMOSITY"
Thou akin to gorgeous summer days,
and I, insignia resembling winters pale and foggy days.
Effervescent glares soft fingers on face;
feels like lacerates on my carapace.
Not since I am broken,
since I am a cat on the hot tin roof;
Worried from assumptions preassumed by your troops.
Comment views and judgements passed by thee,
arent they feel? it impairs central me.
Do I look that stupid? Willi squeeze my glee?
However, the awful cataclysmic dread is losing people of mine.
Those who aided me to embrace my soul,
made me grin like sunflowers at the pot
and presented me infinite in finite times.
how can I lose such precious idiots of mine?
Leaving me, not because of the fight,
but because of deviant choices of mine.
Am I worthy to have friends?
as I lose them so often.
The ropes of society are so tight,
my whole body regularly fights.
Do I deserve animosity?
As I repudiate thee for the betterment of nine.
