Letter to my Dadima!
To
Dadima
Haash, it has been 6 months since you aren't with us anymore. Today my tears could find no other better way to encapsulate you in this. I pray for your wellness all way to wherever you reside.
It was 17th January, I talked to you on the 16th evening and wasn't satisfied yet moved on with my studies but couldn't sleep the whole night. I was returning on the 18th morning, you could have waited for a day at least? just one day, wanted to talk about a lot of things but could not. wanted to hear once - agaaye kanhaiya!
Remember how you recited all those stories when I was a child, I remember each of those stories, I remember each of those shlokas you made us recite. “प्रबिसि नगर कीजे सब काजा हृदय राखी कौशलपुर राजा।” How you saved me from my mom, how you kept me safe inside all those prayers.
I, Keshav, and Didi are doing good, I am taking admission in masters, bhai completed his 3rd year of MBBS, and Didi is settled with her job.
We all miss you a lot. Gossips? Mommy and Chachi still roam and shop frequently. I have not come back from Delhi since I left, and neither I wish to come back. I have this void that is not going to fill anyway, wish I could hear back from you.
I frequently go to Shubham bhaiya's house , he is well, Sneha bhabhi and Vrinda are doing fine they also miss you a lot ( we saw the video together that we made for you).
Vinay Baba is also doing good and usually calls for whereabouts.
Accomplishments? your grandson became the youngest researcher at the International level, an art therapist, and much more to come. Remembered you each time whenever achieved something, can't even forget how passionately you used to be happy and proud of all my debates and academic achievement. Haha miss you yaar , you were the coolest dadi anyone could ever have, making Maggie for you behind my mom's back, bringing pakora and chaat, coming down at 3 to check up on you <3
We all are happy down here, living well, and missing you always. Bua is all good so as your every family member, chacha, papa, tauji.
No festival could ever be the same, nor any happiness. Praying for your wellness and good life.
Jai Shree Krishna.
Swyam ( your future Professor)
